PairIt Voice Flashcards ("PairIt", "the app") is a voice-driven spaced-repetition flashcard application, currently in closed beta on Apple TestFlight. These terms govern your use of the app and of this website. By installing or using PairIt, you agree to them.

PairIt is pre-release software distributed through Apple TestFlight. That means:
PairIt signs you in with Google and accesses your Google Sheets and Google Drive on your behalf, using the permissions you grant at sign-in.

PairIt is designed to be used hands-free, including while walking or running with headphones. You are responsible for your own safety and for your surroundings. Do not use PairIt in any situation where a distraction could cause harm, including while driving or operating machinery. Keep enough awareness of traffic and your environment at all times.
The app, its name, its design, and its underlying software are owned by the developer. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PairIt for your own flashcard practice for the duration of the beta. No other rights are granted.
PairIt depends on services operated by others, including Google (Sheets, Drive, sign-in) and Apple (TestFlight, speech recognition, App Store). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not by these terms. The developer is not responsible for their availability, behaviour, or changes.
PairIt is provided free of charge during the beta. Pricing after general release has not been decided; if the app becomes paid, this will be communicated in advance and no charge will be applied to beta use retroactively.
PairIt is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that answer scoring will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use PairIt. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of your flashcard data. Because your decks live in your Google Drive, standard Google Drive version history and backup apply — but the developer is not a backup service and is not responsible for data loss.
You may stop using PairIt at any time by deleting the app and revoking its Google access. The developer may end the beta, withdraw access, or discontinue the service at any time. On termination, your flashcard data remains in your own Google Drive, unaffected.
If these terms change, the updated version will be published at the same URL and the effective date at the top will be updated. Material changes will be communicated to beta testers via TestFlight release notes or direct email. Continuing to use PairIt after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the developer's state of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
